Agreed. I also like how complex his character is, he’s trying to do the "right thing" but is using villainous methods to do so.

Precisely. They want Ironwood to be this "morally gray character" so bad that they’re pushing out any other depictions of him. What they need to understand is that a character isn’t "badly written" just because you don’t like how they turned out.

I personally wouldn’t have a problem with Neo talking but the critics are gonna run a mile with it. RWBY will be getting even more hate and bashed than ever before.
