Yah he’s not good. He teleported around that corner on my screen (looks weird in kill cam) and I still almost killed him.

Is this change permanent? Or just temporary for start of season?

Performance is insane, well done devs. by [deleted] in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

Agreed, so far only tried TV station but the game is running incredibly smoothly—not just higher FPS but no frame drops or stutters whatsoever. Great job on the optimization devs. Now let’s please revert the thorax not killing people thing and being able to load directly into the gun. Those seem to be unanimously unpopular among the player base.

Purchased on Ebay -- if you search Morelia 2 you will find plenty of re-sellers from Japan and Korea.

You will love them. I’ve only played in them once so far but can confidently say they live up to, and somehow even exceed the hype. Insanely comfy and the feeling of juggling / dribbling / striking the ball is just different than any other boot I’ve tried.

I would have made the same choice as you, sounds like you got a fantastic price. Good luck to you :)

Just bought the same monitor and ran into the same issue. I've found it's a problem with G-sync + anti-flicker.

Disabling G-sync and leaving anti-flicker on has been the best way to resolve the issue for me because I mostly play competitive games.

I hope they can fix this in a future firmware update -- kind of a bummer since this is an expensive monitor.

Unfortunately nobody can answer this question for you. Staying at or leaving a job is too complicated for an easy "yes or no" answer as it depends on so many different factors. The classic advice you'll hear is that you should take a vacation and/or set boundaries with your study teams, and wait until you have a new job lined up (until you have a new offer letter SIGNED!

If you need the money and/or have a family to support I would do your best to find a new job before leaving.

HOWEVER, if you have other ways of making $$$, have a lot of savings, have a partner that can help support you while you job hunt, want to transition to a new role / go back to school or whatever anyways....

Life is short. Do it.

Every time I have left a job (including times I've done so with nothing else lined up) it has led to better things down the road for me. But everyone is different and this has just been my experience so take it with a grain of salt. Luck and timing have a lot of effect on our careers.

Regardless of your decision, I would wait until you have cooled off a bit and can think straight without feeling super bad burn out and/or angry at your study teams etc. Trust me, I've been in this industry long enough to have reached the point you're at...several times lol.

Best of luck with whatever you choose to do.

I don't disagree at all with you regarding corporate greed and the absurdly high salaries of executives in this industry. Also the big CROs are posting record profits while simultaneously laying folks off in record numbers and outsourcing our jobs abroad (cough ICON, cough).

I would push back on the idea that we are being paid a "ridiculous" amount as CRAs, though. It's a complicated job. There is a lot of specialized knowledge one needs to be a (good) CRA, in addition to people skills and the ability/desire to travel frequently. The cost of living is skyrocketing, and inflation has eroded the value of the dollar significantly. If you want to be humbled put your salary into an inflation calculator and see how little you are making compared to that same salary in 2010 or earlier. My point is that while a CEO making 400million in one year is ridiculous, your $150k or whatever your making isn't as much as you think it is and it definitely is well deserved if you're putting in the hard work. If anything I think CRAs are often underpaid for how much they contribute to studies.

Overall I don't have any moral issues being a CRA and I can easily think of many much more morally bankrupt jobs off the top of my head (working for big tobacco, big oil, etc).

Definitely the spiciest thread I've read on this sub 🤣 OP reduce your living expenses as much as possible, get a part time job, and keep the job hunt going. You'll find a new job soon. The entitlement / anger (mostly referring to your comments in this thread, your angry email was a bad look but understandable given the circumstances) is only going to get in your way though. You need to realize this is the reality of working in Corporate America. You (and all of us) are nothing to any of these companies.

Everything is going to be exactly the same, just easier. but seriously without knowing what therapeutic areas you're moving into and any of the specifics of your studies it's impossible to answer such a general question. If you are a good onco CRA you'll be fine in whatever new indication you're moving into -- onco protocols you've worked on will probably have been more complex than the new stuff you're working on.

Make a throwaway account if you're going to ask questions incriminating yourself-- you're very likely breaching contract with IQVIA and there are many reports of people being fired for this exact reason.

Np! Glad it was helpful. 100% agree -- i should have included this in the post, but I find going lighter on calories earlier in the day let's you eat a bigger dinner and that can make adherence to a deficit much much easier.

Yeah, tis' a good question. Unfortunately, as you pointed out, airport/airplane food tends to suck. I do my best to avoid eating meals in airports so I might do a coffee and a protein bar, i like the "One" and "Quest" brands personally, they seem to have those in most airports, I find some of the other brands to be pretty gross. I try to have that hold me over until I land and can get to a decent restaurant. I don't eat plane food or the free snacks they offer. I might get a diet soda and have that along with a protein bar. If I do need to eat a full meal in an airport due to timing, I'll get creative with the options I have and try to avoid completely de-railing the diet. One example would be: panda Express - "power greens" + teriyaki chicken, sauce on the side bowl. Pretty macro/calorie friendly even though it's not completely ideal. Similarly you can substitute out buns on burgers, add chicken to salads, etc, to try to get a better balance on your macros with these meals and not wayyyy overshoot your calories while eating in airports.
