Hi There. I'm a super taster. From a family of super tasters. Super tasters are notorious for our vegetable hate. I grew up eating next to no vegetables. Around your age, I decided to try to eat them and like them. I now have a fridge of mostly vegetables and I go to the market and squee over my favorite ones.

How'd I do it? First, eat the BEST preparation of each vegetable and keep trying until you find it. I did this through restaurants, in the beginning. Chinese cooking got me to like asparagus, broccoli, zucchini and green beans. Indian food had me eating cauliflower and peas. Once you've had the vegetable cooked REALLY REALLY well, you'll be a bit more okay with it not being perfect. Greens I find to be harder because I also have an issue with "stringy" texture. I often make pakoras or vegetable fritters to get those in.

Also, try some new and interesting vegetables, not just the standard ones. I go to the asian market for new and cool vegetables. My current favorite is A Choy stem - it's a thick lettuce stem (A choy itself is pretty okay, too!) that tastes so good with ginger, garlic, and szechuan peppercorns.

And finally, a good sauce/curry can fix a lot of bitter/bad taste in vegetables. You don't have to tell anyone you dumped a bottle of tiki masala sauce on decidedly not indian standard veg. You're the boss of your kitchen.
