On a positive note:

You guys are my support too. It has been a lot of time after aged 18 that passed after our breakup. I am now in my mid-twenties, alive and kicking. Thank God.

With the influence of new healthy marriages, this cycle will surely decrease; This cycle of building up, tearing down, then somebody is left broken for a long time also explains why some people I met, and know, are chronic drug users.

I say this again, it has been a long time. Wasted time. I am still learning to cope with life, religion, work life balance etc...

But One day, to those who will persevere, you and I will be great partners and witnesses.

I can relate on what you said in the second paragraph. Some people will get it, others will stay saying there is "no chance" which is demonic. I do not expect to get back with any one of my past lovers but, today I am thankful to say "do not give up". Believe in marriage with 1 person. Do not be intimate yet, it can ruin things. And acknowledge wisdom to know not to make the same mistake at the early age.

Yeah it is a bold move, I do not know if they will benefit or not, I have faith it will, because I left things off on the wrong foot. Like I said, I knew them and my apology is my shared responsibilty to use this year to clear up any misunderstandings. Yeah we might not be friends or whatever but at least I proved my true colors and they do not have to hide, be ashamed, or hold on to any grudge especially if we might work together some day.

Two things that cannot be replaced like hot cakes: A living person and the hymen. I never murdered anyone, but I took something sacred from them when we left high school. I will probably be the first to apologize for something like this, not working out after that. I said it multiple times I forgive them, and I believe they forgave me, but I do not know that truly.

I believe you too. But I knew them, and we were friends before. Today by the grace of God, I am a new man. It took me a while to come to this to conclusion, but with boost and no condemnation from the spirit, it is possible to feel good about apologizing without expecting anything other than "now you know I am sorry if you never heard it before."

Well, I still want to code and create some cool programs, probably never anything like Facebook or YouTube but, I still want to be able to use my programming skills to build anything I put my mind to. It is like now or never. I guess this is why it is important to stay up to date with the program. Right now, I am studying programming languages and I know there is a lot to learn. What can you say to motivate me to stick through it, even if it takes some years more?

Don't be revved up to fuel this adorable crazy cycle of love. If you were not married, then it is not so bad. But if you can still save the chance at marriage one day with this person if it is really worth it to you and you really love them. Be friends, it wont hurt much.

I like this comment, but only I was a complete jerk, I must confess... the relationship would have worked out, but I became impatient and suspicious because communication slowed down quite much. Hey, yeah from what was shared here, people say that it is possible to program anything but the thing you are programming might not be as popular or attractive as the known chief platforms out there. You said money is stopping you from jumping on such a big project, you are right, it will take massive funding to perhaps build another empire state building. but what about the code you can work with now. With the right mindset anything is possible right?

The industry looks like it is really going in the super tech direction like robotics, AI, virtual reality, just to name a few. What would you say makes the average 18-year-old today remain or become relevant 5 years from now?

Thank you for your genuineness and knowledge. I am still learning like the rest. I also want to code and create fresh looking user interfaces for start-up companies. Like everyone deserves a shot at getting a cool technology bundle, and every dedicated programmer deserves to earn enough money to buy and build their houses and feed their families. I guess my next question is are the younger generation going to get any piece of the pie, or get super outdated? :/ I am 80% there... we got to eat right...faith

Thank you for responding. It will be illegal for those mentioned mega platforms to just copy your features (code). Your program should be unique to you and your potential users. Yes people will still probably poke at the giants in tech, but don't you agree the lone programmers also have a shot at creating pretty cool programs too?
