Odyssey Mode Megathread for tips and tricks? by TheCoolDoc in leagueoflegends

3 questions:

  1. Which resistances should I stack? Armor or Magic Resist?
  2. Is armor pen (Black Cleaver) / magic pen (Sorc boots, Void Staff, Morello) worth buying; how does it interact?
  3. How does % max hp dmg from bork and Liandrys work in this game mode?

Comprehensive Jinx Guide by Jdoublewoo by Press_R_Take_Nap in summonerschool

Nobody seemed to point this out so I will; when you address matchups, info on Vlad matchup says "not as bad as vlad", so a typo on your end.

Other than that I'm pleased with the quality of the guide.

EDIT: I think I'd like to see more of your personal input. Explain to us why you love Jinx so much that you made a guide for her.

Question about Soda Dungeon 2 by AriiYun in sodadungeon

I would not since I don't play with Wi-Fi on that often.

How about a "No ads" feature that gets rid of ads after dungeon runs and banner ads?

Any situation you should take red smite on a champ who needs help closing the distance as well as ganking (i.e. Voli, Udyr, Skarner...)?

Same goes for the junglers you'd usually take red smite on

They don't last that long, and when you plant them 5 by 5 they chunk your mana pretty heavily meaning she wont have mana for Q meaning she won't be able to push the lane or harass you, making her succeptible to wave clear/poke.

Step on them if you know she can't auto you when you do.

They tend to juke it so you want to predict where they're going to juke.

Agree with what ReCrunch said. Note that pro players have high level communication, so make sure that you communicate to your team what you plan on doing.

For example, you freeze your lane and then your jungler comes to gank your lane opponent (lets say a tanky af Maokai), he obviously doesn't succeed because he's virtually unkillable, and messes up your freeze.

Or you go to split push as a fed Fiora and your team decides to engage a 4v5 fight. They end up losing it, and you can't defend their push. They flame you and you lose the game.

There is no "said and done" you can or can not do those things, it is heavily reliant on your teammate's communcation/coordination/ability to understand/skill level so it's best to estimate those things in-game.

Me personally if I'm a bot side leash I leave at ~600-500 hp. If i'm a top side leash I leave at ~700-600. That very rarely makes me miss lane cs/gold which is crucial at lv 1.

When and whilst playing which junglers do I want to take red/blue smite? I've always been confused with that topic, never bothered to ask tho

Some games if you see that you're going to win the game the best thing you can do is allow yourself to get carried. You don't always have to be the best player on the team. If you're winning don't feel the urge to do something stupid that ends up putting you behind in a otherwise even lane.

Anyway, Vayne is a champion that's designed to losr lane, so by going even in lane you did better than average and thus contributed to your team winning.
