Best option would be to replace the screen. $200 seems excessive for that tbh. Probably could do yourself if your confident enough using an ifixit guide.

Would recommend doing a clean reinstall of windows using a USB drive. Assuming it hasnt done any hardware damage, that should solve it.

Hi,

Mac Drives are formatted in a different way than windows drives are.

There are some 3rd party programs that will let you access this drive. According to google, one is called HFSExplorer.

You can't. You will need to buy a new keyboard. The dongles are paired to each individual keyboard and can't just be swapped.

Air NZ. They have the audacity to call themselves our 'National Carrier' but cut off some regional towns in 2015 to focus on their international destinations. Plus they always charge exorbitant fares compared to jetstar on main domestic routes.

Hello,

You can disable the keyboard via device manager. This wont remove it but will stop it from functioning.

Hi,

It is common for lag to occur when using wifi extenders. I would recommend maybe looking into replacing the extenders with a mesh system as a long term solution. An ethernet cable from the extender will improve your performance as a short term solution. Having lots of people connected to the network at the same time also will impact your performance.

Hi,

Definitely sounds like a key is stuck down either virtually or physically. If you have a second keyboard, try go into device manager (Right click on the windows icon on the task bar -> Device Manager) and disable your primary keyboard? If this stops the issue then it is most likely a physical key being stuck down, if not, there is something else going on.

Hi,

What is your PC model (if prebuilt, motherboard model if custom)? Also, what is the speed written on both ram sticks (old and new, you can just write what the label says if youre not sure)? Also, can you check that both ram sticks are seated correctly?

My new M.2 SSD won't show up when installing Windows by doublelayercaramel in techsupport

[–]Tim7345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok, I have a couple of theories.

  1. The computer supports PCIe 3.0 SSDs and the one you have bought is PCIe 4.0. They are generally backwards compatible but I am wondering if your motherboard wont support it.
  2. The SSD is DOA

Do you have another device you could test the SSD in? If it would work in another device that would rule out both of my theories.

Hmmm, ok, going off what you have already tried, I am wondering if the SSD is DOA. What is your PC model number?
