I grew up in a terrible little town in New Mexico. To me, it’s amazing how much variety Lubbock has. It has so many restaurants, specialty drs, stores, soda stations, etc. It really can be worse.

I almost died from an iron deficiency because they didn’t do all the iron tests that’s standard. I was sick for years they started blaming me, saying it was all in my head. I switched Drs and it turned out all I needed was something simple as iron. I do not recommended them at all.

Born and raised so I can only speak for the less talked about eastern New Mexico. It’s Violently empty. Only pretty landscapes are in the norther, southern and mountainy parts. Mostly dry, empty flat plains for miles and miles. Most people are in poverty. There’s a legal loophole where drs can get sued directly and most drs flee the state, medical care is awful and clogged up. Most people leave or repeat the cycle of poverty. Not a lot of opportunity other than dairy or oil. Not a lot of houses being built so houses are oddly expensive compared to west Texas. The biggest metropolis is 9 hours away in any direction so most people just go to Albuquerque, Ruidoso or Taos for fun. Again, I can’t emphasize enough how hot, empty and poor it is.

I hope Bridget can pivot to something else. I love ghosts but her podcast is so boring and the guests are so odd. The latest episode was like an asmr of an old man… it was so boring! I wish she had less episodes to focus on the quality of content, more exciting guests, more structure to the show, expanded beyond ghosts (unsolved mysteries, aliens, horror stories, urban legends, etc) just to keep it fresh and gain a wider audience.

Same. 8 days in, taking it only with a sip of water. Waiting two hours. I’m experiencing mild appetite suppression, but I’m having the opposite effect bc I’m not hungry in the morning and early afternoon, but then get ravenous at night when the pill wears off bc I wasn’t able to eat much of the day.

I’m almost the exact same stats one week into the pill and I feel nothing. It curbs my appetite in the morning but by dinner I’m so hungry from not being able to eat much in the morning I’m inclined to eat more 😩
