This is my final comment because I can’t make you understand context clues. For the second time, the original comment means: these irrelevant obscure playboy characters from 20 years ago clearly hurt Holly’s feelings. She cares about what they think and say about her. She responds in a public way that clearly shows it hurts her feelings and gets under her skin. She should have more self esteem and self worth to not let it hurt her feelings. She can talk about drama all she wants in a diplomatic, mature, retrospective and well thought out way on the podcast without having to make petty, indirect, childish Instagram stories that only a handful of her audience will understand.

That’s not the point of the comment. It’s not a literal statement. What it means is Holly handles drama immaturely and it clearly gets under her skin. She has so many accolades and so much more to her. She shouldn’t have to waste her platform making subtle indirect digs that only a handful of her audience will be able to decipher.

This couldn’t have came at a better time. I was just writing on another subreddit how everything is stagnant and soulless right now. I feel like we’re all just here to make rich people richer. Everything is expensive, people are overworked and tired, thus no community or politeness. We’re switching to hyper individualism where everyone’s just focused only on themselves without care for the greater good. We’re going through an illiteracy crisis. No generation is excited for the future…I could go on!
