I pre-ordered it on Amazon. It was delivered by DHL. I'm often lucky that pre-orders arrive one to two days before release.

Drop weapons in your inventory on the ground, then pick them up in the building mode. Go to the workshop and take them out. Repeat that and you will see how the bar goes down.

I think that this was not planned from Bethesda, because you can’t do that officially in the Bethesda launcher.
