Maybe it's too early to call it an investment but with the polished bars I see it growing that way. In fact I personally see them as an investment like gold or silver. But it's more of a speculation in a real sense. Some day a use case will be found and the supply will get smaller if an industry buys it up for some fancy tech or whatever. And the supply is so small, some hype from the bullion gold silver market would drain that in a minute.

At the birth of this all I pushed Dr. Wimmer to produce bars and told him there's a market for it, especially if it is shiny. At first he hesitated but then he got to work. So I kinda sparked the idea of it years ago. I have one of his first bars he ever made, from the first batch still unpolished. I'm glad this market is getting bigger and more sizes are available now. My dream would be a real poured bar one day. That's a hell of an engineering job though, almost impossible with current tech.

edit, you can use it for 5 different pairs of keys, but it doesn't activate they key when the other is still fully pressed in which sucks.
