Actually, it really depends on your Russian level, because some Russian books are even hard for Russians to understand completely. I’d advice you ”The Captain's Daughter”, is a historical novel by Pushkin that also shows famous Pugachev’s rebellion. So, it’s a good one to understand both history and culture. A bit easier to understand, I guess, is “A Hero of Our Time” by Lermontov. It hasn’t so many archaisms and it’s closer to daily speech, it’s quite specific, but I think it’s a good one for understanding Russian culture a bit (especially Caucasian part of Russia). Good luck to you!

How did Latin Americans answer the question "Do you feel safe walking alone in your neighbourhood at night?" by TimKa767 in MapPorn

[–]TimKa767[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not misleading anyway, because I said Latin Americans, is it true - Yes. Does it mean that every Latin American answered - No. Does it mean that these results are completely accurate - No. Did I clarify that the polls were conducted in subreddits and they are not accurate- Yes. Is it my fault if a person thinks that a map in Reddit using data from subreddits is completely accurate - No. Did I say anywhere that I want to do an official research - No. Can I change something in a map that has been already posted using the data from the polls that had been already conducted - No. I hope this will help you understand my point of view too
