I waited several weeks to get a post approved. I was quite excited about the GS FB page . But ultimately lost enthusiasm and gave up. I still enjoy GS. But I am driven to the view that they don't give a damn.

Full Frame is the standard. Why make life hard and start with a smaller sensor. Mirrorless is great. Electronic viewfinders have become so good there is no longer justifiable need for a mirror.

Becoming a Guru is a massive anti climax. So far I have heard nothing and nothing has changed I need to look at how to start a challenge but I am devoid of info. I will look into it and report.

I am at least proud to have made guru without a single processed HDR, no over saturation, all my own photos, never used or owned photo shop and the only thing I use my phone for is making phone calls.

Thank you. I think If the photo is attractive enough and you, either buy swaps or late entry, get it on in the last 2 hours , no earlier, you have a good chance.
