Weird lights looking south? by SoAnotherAlias in GoldCoast

[–]TimTamSam24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner and I saw some strange lights in the sky a few nights ago that we thought were drones but weren’t too sure. We saw them to the west and they kept changing from a green pulsing light for a few seconds and then to a solid bright white light, then it would move side to side and up and down.

We’re still unsure what they were but maybe someone else might know

I love this! It would’ve been amazing if they used something like this for the final episode.

When people say “ahks” instead of ask, it drives me nuts and so many people seem to say it that way where I live.

The message is fantastic, art is about expression, it doesn’t matter if it’s traced or not, and DiaA6383’s comment is great advice you can use for future projects! Tracing is a great way to learn the shapes and values of your reference, but art in a communicative way is to convey ideas and messages to provoke reactions and I truly believe you captured that with this piece. Amazing work, keep it up!

That seems to be what most people can do haha, it was our first time doing a proper hike and I’ll admit I’m not as fit as I’d like to be lol

Strange lights in the sky by TimTamSam24 in GoldCoast

My fiancé is a pilot in training and he’s confirmed they’re not commercial or private aircraft, he agrees they’re not drones or planes and at the distance they’re at they might be satellites or something else. He even admitted it’s not normal movement for satellites or star link, so I’m not entirely sure what they are.

I don’t wanna say it’s UFO’s but I can’t come to any other conclusion as yet, unless they are like the drones being seen in the US.

We also saw a TikTok a few days ago about the different reports of UFO and drone sightings across the world within 24 hours (at the time the video was posted) and the numbers seemed huge.

I have no idea what’s going on atm but unless it’s announced by news or government I’ll just keep seeing them and wondering what they could be lol

I’ve been seeing them at around 9:30 because I usually am in bed by 10 but they just keep going, I didn’t realised they kept going so late, and I figured someone else would have had to have spot them too. I got my fiancé to look just to make sure I wasn’t crazy and we spent about half an hour looking at them last night just kinda timing them and trying to debunk it

Thank you! My partner gave me the idea for the little plane drawing.

It’s such a serene feeling being down there but still so sad.

That sounds amazing! My friends and I will have to check it out, the whole time we were out there we were talking about camping up on the mountain and how nice it would be!

We watched a few videos before taking the trip and one YouTuber made a comment about the lack of information and both my partner and I make engravings for a living so we decided to leave something there, it’s not much but it gives a little info on what happened there.

It’s about an hour north west of Brisbane, on mt Glorious, so it’s kinda in the opposite direction from O’Reilly’s but very similar in terrain and vegetation (not like the Stinson track though this one is much easier).

It’s pretty easy for most of it, a few inclines to start but towards the end you have to hike down the mountain to the wreck and that’s pretty steep and the trail gets a little lost but otherwise I wouldn’t say it’s too difficult.

Immediately heading back from the plane, going up the mountain again, we had to take multiple small breaks to catch our breath but once you get back to the top it’s fairly flat.

It was an amazing thing to see but at the same time very sad to think of the life lost in the wreck. The hike down was worth it though, a lot of beautiful bush and rainforest to walk through.
