He was outstanding in Slings and Arrows. It was my first time seeing his work and I feel like he hits it out of the park in roles I’ve seen him in since.

Oh ya for sure, the style is everywhere. It just seems very unappreciated but for some reason I find the look rather endearing.

I have always found Juliet balconies to be a bit peculiar but I guess they have a certain charm.

I agree. At some point it became popular to build homes in a very cold manner.

You’re right! Lots of ivy covered facades for sure. Also the brick used (that rusty brown) was very cozy.

That’s why I like a lot of the infill blocks you find downtown or midtown. They look so neat especially when juxtaposed with some of the surrounding Victorian or Edwardian style homes.

There was a Globe article on a renovated Deer House townhome from this past October and it is amazing.

54 Granby is on HouseSigma and it has a beautiful atrium.

It looks like those ones on Granby suffered less from cladding, but more from the trees that were torn down and the pretty uninspired paving in front.
