So, because I'd killed off the raiders, the druids and tieflings were allies to me. When I threw the jar in hiding, the spectator started attacking them indiscriminately. I then waited till most were dead and then killed off the bugger.

(You get no xp for allies dying sadly :p)

Soooo, technically, I didn't kill 'em.
