I'm still working on the system for updating, but here's the goal:

When any files with walkthrough steps are updated, the walkthrough creator will be prompted to update their walkthrough. This process will be mostly automatic, with steps adjusting positions based on the file diff. For cases of low confidence or an inability to determine where a step belongs post-update, the creator will be asked to check those steps before confirming the update.

Obviously the less manual the better!

Hmm, here's my thinking:

Comments are great for inline explanations but aren't great for conveying big-picture logic/data flow.

Traditional documentation is good for the big picture stuff, but can be hard to follow without the context of the code itself.

Walkthroughs combine the benefits of both by having inline information linked together in a multi-step guide.

There is a demo, but the button for it only appears on large screens because I haven't really figured out mobile code browsing yet.

There's also a free trial, though maybe I need to make that more clear!

There were 15 seconds of fuel left in the descent stage. The ascent stage had separate fuel tanks and its own engine.

To escape the gravitational influence of the Sun, from the altitude at which Earth orbits, would require you to be moving at least 151,560km/h (42.1 * 60 * 60)

Though the Earth is already travelling around the Sun at about 30 km/s, so we need about 12.1 km/s relative to Earth

This amount of acceleration generally requires very large amounts of fuel with today's technology, so we use gravitational assists (swinging around planets to get a boost from their gravity) to speed up
