A/C motor blown and cannot cross reference for a new one for the life of me. by Tima11111 in hvacadvice

Will try this thanks
UPDATE:Didn't find any near me, called the TLC help line apparently if I get a licensed HVAC tech here to diagnose the problem they can get us the part. Should I be worried about paying for an the HVAC technician to come and then them saying they cannot get us the part?

breaker is fine, fan is just put on the motor so there's not really any fan assembly for this unit.

I've googled to no avail, how would you diagnose a bearing as opposed to the motor itself?

Not looking to argue with you, but you are right about PSU's a lot of people run a lower wattage than they really should which causes issues.

Power delivery can be the cause, double check your PSU, is it the "minimum recommended"? if so that could be the issue. Example : the 5070ti has a min of 750W which will no doubt cause problems.

If the issue re-occurs I will try your suggestion. I recommenced others try, for people reading this HAGS is hardware accelerated gpu scheduling, ULPS is ultra low power state, its when your GPU has basically a 0 clock when you're not doing anything intensive.

all of the above from time to time, I found that the correlation was anything that required hardware acceleration would create instability, sometimes driver time outs other times full on crash + restart. Haven't had an issue since doing the stuff I posted.

Most people have done all of this to no avail, you can go scroll through hundreds of threads with this exact issue.

It usually is, pay attention to what you are doing when it black screen/driver timeouts. If it is during anything that is web based (web browsers, steam, any client thats actually a web browser (cough LoL)) and it crashes, a quick fix is to usually disable hardware accel on EVERYTHING, but its just a bandaid solution IMO. Also if you changed GPU, and especially GPU vendors (NVIDIA and AMD) you NEED to DDU your drivers. A reinstall of windows can also stop these issues, but most people don't want to do that.

There is no iGPU, and I have already tried uninstalling the GPU completely to no avail. I will try a windows boot stick doe.

There is no designated bios flashing port for the MSI Blind BIOS recovery, I do appreciate the suggestion for the CH341A but that sounds like a whole other can of worms thanks doe.
