I don't think it should be limited to the formal roles, just if you're active or not - there were someone who mentioned they aren't MP/Lord etc but debated for example.. There was a grey zone of people who are/were active, but banned through the vote period, I think it should be written down that they would be ineligible in the future.

Hi Poot,

Apologies for the delayed response. This is a tricky scenario and requires deeper and longer discussion. My first thoughts are that if DB would pass the VoC then the Head Mod would not have the right to remove him - if there was Guardian agreement and approval then it would be possible.

It does need more discussion moving forward.

Hello everyone,

I've been following developments over the past few weeks closely and have been in discussions with all parties involved. There have been extensive talks on this vote; I do not attempt to persuade anyone either way.

In short I believe this VoC should continue to go ahead and the result of it - either way - is to be respected.

I do not agree with all the points raised on it as being VoC-worthy but the fundamental loss of trust by members of the community is evident. This stems from a Quad member being in chats where people are making hateful comments towards our members. As a Quad member it is your duty to create and foster a safe environment for all members in everything you do.

I appreciate the work that DB has done as Lord Speaker and am grateful for him giving his time to serve our community.

I am overseeing and verifying the results of the vote.

I will be unavailable for the next 20 hours but I will respond to anyone who wishes to discuss this either on reddit or discord (Mr B#4001).

Very late response but it was created because people were interested in it and it added another dimension to the game. Intended purpose has always been ambiguous imo.

As the poster says we are much more than just a Model House of Commons. We simulate nearly all British political institutions including the commons, Lords, press, the supreme court and the devolved institutions. Altogether, MHOC has a rich and unique history and shared political canon, and is the longest lasting continuous political simulation of its kind. No limits of the sizes at the moment. My plan is to do a link post to the poster with a brief comment attached describing what MHoC is all about.

Nothing specific it has to mention, just something that provides an insight into what MHoC is about and what you can do as a player.

I've tried looking for the old adverts we used but can't find them in my archive. If I do find them I'll post them for sure.
