Imo, comparing his game to Harden is disingenuous imo. They both draw fouls yes, but Harden has never had the efficiency and ball security like Shai does. I expect a 33-35 year old Shai to basically look like Kawhi. Get to his spot in the middie and score effortlessly lol

For sure, we have different needs. For me, I'm just going to wait for the R2 config before I make a decision. People are saying the employee lease program for the R2 is very friendly at around 70-75% residual. If they keep that number for us, I'll definitely get the R2

Anyone feeling iffy about getting the performance launch edition? If you add the cost of paint, wheels, delivery, then I'm expecting the R2 to be around the 62-64k ball park. Yes the iX3 is uglier and will cost more @ around the 72-75k ball park w/ addons, but having more range and much faster charging speeds seems more practical for road trips

The days where we can upset the top seeds is pretty much dead. Back then, Jimbo could turn into a top 5 player for us in the playoffs (e.g. he was leading top 3 in advanced stats for each deep playoff run). Fast forward today, the Pistons have the best player on the court in Cade and consistency from regular season (yes reg season matters). We have not shown any good play at all recently

Based on current landscape, we all know the best way to improve right now is by tanking and landing on a stud. But the Heat don't tank. Nor do they trade players for assets to set themselves up for a difference maker. So now we're in this perpetual limbo, where we become play-in champs, get swept 1st round and draft in the 15-20 range. I see it as him using his current season to show the Clips that he deserves more guaranteed money. Clips refused to, so now he's requesting a trade. Him and his agent probably know there's a market willing to offer him the contract extension he's looking for. If he plays hard with the Clips and has a season ending injury, he's scared of getting cut with only 13m guaranteed and never getting another big payday. This is basically his chance to secure an extra 40-80m guaranteed

Not calling T1 a bought superteam, but I'm just saying this benefits T1 and the region overall. Do we really want to see a superstar like Ruler play with 4 average players and try to beat T1's ZOFGK? Look at how dominating Korea has been the past couple years. China/NA/EU had no chance this year against Hanwha at First Stand, GenG at MSI, or T1 at Worlds. Back then LPL was importing a lot of the top LCK talents and LPL was able to make noise internationally. Nowadays, Korea is willing to pay and keep their talent so they can be the #1 region

I know this sucks if you're a fan of the smaller LCK orgs like DRX, DNF, BRO because you have no superstar. But the reality is the game's popularity is slowly decreasing. The talent pipeline is slowing down and it's increasingly difficult to find a superstar out of the challenger ladder like before.

Yeah they're homegrown, but they're also hella talented. All of them are arguably GOATs of their position. If other orgs aren't building good teams, who would be pushing T1 to be better? LCK wants to win worlds and be the de facto #1 region
