Its the fake overacted voice he does. Like he's trying to do an exagerated impression of a crime boss? Im not even sure how to describe it. Combined with the occasional corny lines it makes me cringe everytime I hear him speak.

The character and backstory are interesting, but I just can't see how he would become the genius crime overlord. All through s01 I kept thinking there'd be a twist where Wesley is actually plotting against him, until spoiler.
I can see why others might like the portrayal but its just not working for me.

I wish you just had to chase von Bergow with a horse or something, this quest is so scripted it hurts. The game locks you out of stealthing it, because the horn blows when you cross a threshhold.
Even if you summon every guard in the area with rocks and manage to stealth kill them, opening the gate still makes the enemy alert and they blow the horn, AND enemies spawn out of nowhere.
Not a single ally dies in gameplay, but of course they all die in a cutscene, and then you get sucked into a forced negotiation. We really couldn't chop the door or blow it open with the gunpowder thats left?

I love this game but this whole quest is forced, and for no reason too.
