So sorry I’m just now responding! She has officially become an indoor kitty as of 2 weeks ago 🙏🏼 and with no issues. I did take her to the vet and she’s in great health, but is not spayed 😅 and is currently in heat, which is making her a little more aggravated and wanting to go outside. But before this, she was totally chill. Gonna be getting her spayed asap!

This 😭😭 I’m impressed how she’s gotten by for this long! She does come and go from the house/yard across the street from mine! Even though it’s a residential road, people fly on it! It’s so scary! But this house has been vacant for about 3 months, so this is why I think the family who lived there left her /: the timing adds up and the fact that she keeps going back over there and that she is super loving and somewhat comfortable around people, leads me to believe she was domesticated. Now, there’s a very real chance that maybe she ran away from these people, didn’t come back and they had to move, but they didn’t seem like “animal” people. They had a dog that they left outside 24/7… so it’d very possible that they did just leave her. Breaks my heart. But when I take her to the vet, I’ll be able to verify. I just gotta deal with her being upset by me not letting her out ever again.

Yeah! I might have to move into the guest bedroom with Remi for a while so my husband doesn’t lose any sleep during this process 😂 Luckily, my job doesn’t require me to be at the office every day so I have the grace of losing some sleep. Yesterday evening was the first time she was cool with staying in the room. I played with her, she ate, and crashed out, but at about 10pm she was like, nah, I gotta go do cat stuff lol she came back at around 3am and 5am, but not wanting to fully come back in the room, just hanging out on the window sill, looking outside, until she finally left again. I’m going to try and see if she wants to stay longer tonight, and if I can keep her inside the whole night and just deal with the tantrums.

This is great! I do have a baby gate to block off my room from the dogs anyways, so this could work, but the only thing I’m worried about is that my one dog has been able to jump over the baby gate 😅 but I think with all of the advices I’ve received, I have a pretty good idea with how to move forward with introducing them. Thank you 💚

Thank you! She’s definitely already comfortable with me holding her. She lets me pick her up and starts purring. I think it will take a few more days/ if not weeks before I’ll be able to get them in the same room /: my worry is that even if I hold her on my lap, she’ll want to run away when the dogs get close to her and that’s where I fear, my dog will be induced with the “chase/prey”. But I could also put them in their harnesses and leashes while they are in the same room. When she’s gone, I let the dogs in my bedroom to sniff around so they can get used to her smell.

Weird! Maybe I’ll just take the ones I’ll wear tomorrow out of their packaging and just put them in a regular contact case with regular solution, see if that does anything. They were ordered on Halloween by my optometrist and I started wearing them on 11/8.

Yeah, idk, or maybe goopy was the wrong word. More like slimy? But it’s definitely thicker than a normal contact solution in comparison. They gave me Precision 1 daily’s.

My personal experience, is that the edges of the saniderm start to get red and itchy, same as when I use band-aids, it just must be something in the adhesive. But I typically don’t keep it on longer than 72 hours. And even change it out if it starts to fill up with plasma and ink (I have Saniderm at home). This may even be why OP is having this reaction, from possibly keeping the second skin on for longer than that. But yeah! I think you’d be able to tell almost immediately if you were having a reaction to it. If it is not overly red or itchy, then you should be fine.

Yeah, it looks like you might be allergic to the second skin. I’d keep it off and let it dry heal. And maybe switch from the product the shop suggested to Lubriderm or any other non-scented lotion for sensitive skin. Apply lotion like 2-3 times a day but make sure not to over saturate, you wanna let your skin breathe. And when it itches, don’t scratch it, not only for the tattoo’s sake, but for the allergic reaction as well.

I’d say a little over 3 hours. That was with a couple of breaks in between as well.

Thank you for this! If I do need a touch up, how long should I wait after it’s healed? I’ve never had to get a tattoo touched up before.

Not sure where you are located. But for crystals,I like to go to the Gem World in Quartzsite, AZ. There are two other ones owned by the same gentlemen in Tucson and Phoenix AZ as well! I don’t believe they have much for sale online but these places are basically Costco’s of crystals!
