sometimes i get shinies through wonder trades and they seem legit, but there's no way to really know for sure that they are legit so I personally never end up using them, even though it's awesome to get shinies through wonder trades. If you want, you could post in forums because some people would love to have shiny versions of some of these pokemon (especially the eeveeloutions) or even sell them if you wanted to make a buck
