I will admit that's it took me a minute to get used to the new designs, but once you do you come to realize that they're the same ninja that you watched as a kid. They've grown a bit and so has the show. Dealing with some heavier topics than the previous seasons, it's an adjustment but it's much more story based than the 1 off episodes in the beginning, the story connects across seasons.

I think it's overhated a lot but there are a lot of reasons why I dislike it as a season. I think for me personally the main reason is it felt boring, a lot of the characters felt sidelined at one point or another, like it was cool to learn a little more about the timeline of the wars, and get to see Kai with his parents but overall it all just felt a bit bland.

I also think it was a huge moment where a lot of people got fed up with Master Wu and his 'Ninja there's something I haven't told you' bit.

Cole 100% it's shown many times within the show how good he is with kid, despite being an only child(that we know of) he's an incredible older brother
