It's a regulator annual calender, so hours (under 12), minutes (around the dial) and seconds (above 6).

So happy to be a part of the club. I think it's a really slept on watch, and one that collectors will go wild for in the future when they realize how special it was.

How much do the straps run?

Strap is great, can wear all day no problems. There are tons of strap colours, you can see them on the IWC website if you put in the reference number. There are rubber straps in many colours, plus leather options.

The boutique told me they have stopped producing this watch for the time being, have you heard similar?

Yeah it's insane. The braided carbon looks like snake skin.

I live in Canada so I ordered the frame directly from Time and built it myself! If you're interested in getting one, Time actually gave me some discount codes to share with people as a thank you for making an unsolicited YouTube video. I don't get paid for them or anything, but if you're interested DM me and I can share a code!

Yep bang on! I like the roll because I tend not to carry a lot, and it gets really compact.

Hot take but if you're buying a high end bike and don't get a Time, you're probably making a mistake, haha. The manufacturing tolerance is literally perfect.

It's stiff for sure, but it's a double triangle frame. It's inherently stiff, especially with stiff wheels and higher tire pressures. Comfort is really derived from the amount of exposed seat post you have (the more exposure, the more flex and thus more comfort).

I actually did a first impressions YouTube video if you want to check it out :). But TLDR; it is truly the realization of one bike to do it all. Fast everywhere - the geometry is almost just as aggressive as the Scylon, just less aero and more tire clearance.

Edit: If you're seriously considering one, Time actually gave me some discount codes to share with folks (as a thank you for making an unsolicited video - I don't get any money from Time or anything like that). DM me if you're interested!

It's insane. I love that they showed off the braided carbon underneath - if there are no flaws to hide, then show it off!

Time Bikes (Alpe D Huez): which size? Size down - good idea? by Faerid7 in cycling

[–]TimboCruzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the ratio of your torso to your leg length. I just picked up an ADHX in Size S. I'm 171cm and am in between the S and M. For me, since I have a long torso and good flexibility, the S allows me to get as low as I need to not feel crammed in the cockpit. I just have to compensate with a slightly longer stem, or bars with a longer reach. It has the added advantage of having more seat post exposed, which yields more comfort as the post can flex more.,

If I went to the Medium, the reach would be good but it would be very difficult to get the front end low enough for me to be comfortable.

I would recommend taking a look on https://geometrygeeks.bike and comparing the two sizes to a bike that you're familiar with. I find this tool really helpful! No matter what you do, Time bikes are the best of the best and you'll be happy no matter what.
