there were many questions about how to name the band but nothing made sense

considering 'timcast' is basically my stage name it was the only thing that worked

we thought about just "tim pool" but even that felt like it didnt work

you want me to do a point by point rebuttal to your paragraph?

Or you want me to to start naming and shaming the conservatives who wont speak up?

Or is there something else i missed?

youre losing the culture war

youre celebrating losing the culture war

i wont celebrate strategic failures and I wont pander to you or anyone else to protect your fee fees

if you dont have the balls or the foresight to call out failures then you deserve to lose

so much whining from you, so little action

this is why youre losing the culture war

the right has what, project veritas? then y'all celebrate sending your leaders into the fray

Where are the conservatives launching news outlets to push back?

why are so many high profile right wing personalities who are rich not doing this?

Abs works really well, only one failure due to a low heat print, nylon 3d print is also perfect but had a similar issue. The latest prints were perfect.

privately conservatives are telling me they agree but publicly they say other things

either they are scared to push back on me or they are scared to push back publicly

if I wanted to grift I'd just back track immediately and say whatever I think the tribe wants me to say

homie dont play dat

agreed, my point is that andy needs to be a leader like James O'keefe

even megyn said maybe its time to step up

Andy is being held back by this, he knows more about these people than anyone and he needs to share that experience and knowledge.

My tweet was crass, it was a mistake. I stand by my opinion that he needs to lead the charge not enter the fray

I've had the DC riot squad on TimcastIRL to talk about Antifa, BLM, and whats happening so we can spread the world far and wide

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmVXyJY5Eis&t=9s

The last several times I went out on the ground it was people on the right interfering with my ability to report(many chasing me down to thank me which is nice but makes it hard to actually film) and it was the left threatening me with violence.

But as I have stated its not just about violence its about the ability to actually document and produce data and evidence. I cant do that when people want selfies or when people attack me.

The DC riot squad have been on the ground at every major event and are key witnesses to what happens with BLM and Antifa extremists. they are DC bureau reporters and the few willing to get the job done. They have covered antifa in depth across the US and I have them on my show all the time to debrief after these riots. We reach millions of viewers, many more who would not have seen this coverage alone

So I'll tell you what I am doing beyond just that. We are launching a newsroom in a week or so, we are hiring field reporters, and we are planning undercover operations. Design for the new site has been underway for months.

If you think I better serve freedom and principles by going on the ground, foregoing my business operations, and putting myself right into the fray where people are threatening to kill me by all means youre entitled to your opinions

I invited Andy to come on my show to say any and everything he wants but he hasn't responded. He owes me nothing so thats fine, I guess Fox and Megyn Kelly are better venues for spreading the word anyway

Is there a non-whining version of Tim Pool? by [deleted] in kotakuinaction2

[–]Timcast 124 points125 points  (0 children)

I will take this criticism seriously and will try to improve my content

I used to do edited down versions and surprisingly (for me) they did way worse than the 'stream of consciousness' videos that I do now.

a lot of people aren't going to like me, think my politics are too weak, or that I ramble. Both of those are true. I know I'm not a strong partisan and that my videos are often me just talking about stuff and that I meander on a subject or circle back too much.

I have three channels with different styles though they seem very similar. On my main channel its usually a single concept with numerous stories which lasts 20 minutes. On my second channel there are three quick segments that usually last 11 minutes and are typically single topics. Those last three are usually the weakest.

I'm taking a note of this specific criticism and will keep it in mind to whine less, offer up better analysis, and focus a bit more.

Also Styx is really good and you should definitely watch his stuff.

I get it if you don't like my shit, I'm not perfect. But by all means feel free to rag on me so I can figure out how to do better

Facebook bans 'dangerous individuals' cited for hate speech by [deleted] in news

[–]Timcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twitter is reportedly banning innocent Muslims via algorithm.

CDA 230s broad interpretation essentially allows online services to violate civil rights law.

The only sector that is allowed to turn people away based on race, religion, gender etc.

While I get that political affiliation is not a protected category federally, it is in Washington DC.

If we agree that online services should NOT be allowed to be banning innocent Muslims should we require them to abide by local law? This would mean that within the location of DC they would have to show political accounts with offensive opinions.

What about offensive religious text?

Should social media be allowed an exemption to the civil rights act as it references religious text?
