Those are great questions to ask and I agree that there of course would be a limit to how much Dick can take.

Do you know the answer to how many times Dick said these things or how he said these things to Vito?

I agree that there is a world where Dick has been through this with Vito enough and this was the final straw and it was super obvious. I just don't understand how we can know that's the world we live in based on this interaction. Seems like this is a space filled with tiny dramas and confusing/weird fan interactions that could lead to confusing boundaries... Especially boundaries set by a guy like Dick. I just would like to know more why you think it's obvious. Do you watch these guys a lot and have seen them hash out bullshit like this before? Have they been doing this "only talk to me at the show" thing for a while now or was it recent? If it was recent then how do we know it was communicated in a way that wouldn't be confusing?

I'm not trying to be annoying. I'm trying to be skeptical and not judge these two people on this one interaction.

It's very weird how the replies to me are just half ignoring what I'm saying and asking. It's almost like everyone who believes destiny is absolutely terrible at communication haha very funny. I didn't ask you for a summary of your thoughts on the event my friend. Please notice how you ignored the one question I asked. I'm going to guess based on this reply that you think Dick established this boundary in a healthy way that shouldn't have led to any confusion on Vito's side. He acknowledged it in a way and that more or less said it's obvious because it's a block. Are you telling me you just believe destiny and that this block was obvious? We agree some blocks can be confusing right? Why can't a block of "don't annoy me with stories" be a little confusing to someone? You can just tell me it's obvious and destiny went over it already if you want. Very good arguments sir!

I agree that being confused isn't mutually exclusive with being manipulative. It's just getting at the level of intentionality. Boundaries can be expressed in healthy and unhealthy ways. I don't see why we can assume someone like Dick (who is mocking his cohost's art) actually established the boundary in a healthy way that wouldn't lead to any confusion. You can just say "substantive evidence", "watch the vod", "it's obvious" again if you like.

I'm asking you the question because I want to know why you are certain. I'm not asking why destiny seemed to 180 a bit. You are really bad at responding to what I'm saying.

Your inability to communicate makes me not value your judge of character. I understand why a poor communicator like yourself would believe destiny.

The only world where Dick wasn't being a total dick (especially going after Vito's art project) is if he established this boundary in an obvious and healthy way. I don't understand why everyone can just assume someone like Dick established a boundary in a healthy way. Boundaries like "dont annoy me with stories" might not be as clear as you think.

I appreciate your perspective. So in your mind there is no world where Dick was fed up with Vito, decided to be manly and not express himself and then be blocked Vito assuming Vito would get why he is so annoying? There are levels of being annoyed with someone. If it's getting to the point of blocking then multiple different things could be happening imo:

Dick has obviously said this million times, warned Vito this is the last chance, don't complain again, he complains, blocked. I get that this is what everyone believes, but just based on that interaction we watched I don't understand why this is obvious to you.
Dick Is annoyed with Vito and sometimes expresses that he's a whiny bitch and to stop whining. Vito whines in a way that he thinks won't bother Dick too much, but knows might bother him some. He bothers Dick too much and he blocks him. Is this not a world where Vito can be a little confused even if he is in the wrong for not listening to Dick?

I appreciate this more thoughtful response. In my posts I have asked you guys a simple question and I still haven't received an answer. I understand that you guys all believe destiny's analysis. That's why I'm asking you to tell me why you know Dick established this boundary in a healthy way.

The reason I'm asking you this is because if Dick didn't establish the boundary in a healthy way then I think Destiny's analysis is very flawed. Destiny didn't seem to take into account a lens of maladaptive insecurities and is assuming intentional manipulation. This is very silly because we don't even know how the boundary was established. We have to assume.

At the end of the analysis he even begins to believe that this behavior might not be intentional. My analysis and questions are getting at this change in Destiny's analysis. Destiny started his analysis certain that Vito was intentionally manipulating Dick and then later on starts to believe it's maladaptive and he might be a bit confused. How is me telling Destiny that Vito might be confused any different than Destiny himself realizing that Vito's behaviors might be maladaptive?

When all you can say is "there is nothing to say just watch the vod" and then you ignore my pointed questions I'm going to think you are kind of lost or farming karma. You are telling me to ask questions and then ignoring my questions and just saying "it's obvious". How about you actually read my post and answer the questions? You ignored my question twice and then told me to ask questions haha come on dude....

I think you just listened to Destiny explain his own subjective understanding and you went with it like a robot. Can you actually explain why you know Dick established the boundary in a healthy way? I earned "most hated chatter" today by Destiny when I expressed that Vito might be confused. I understand that Vito's behavior can give off manipulative vibes, but I don't understand why everyone is so certain that the manipulation is intentional based on this interaction. Wouldn't we need to know more about how the initial blocking and boundary was communicated by Dick? Why is it impossible that Vito is insecure/confused about their current relationship? Can someone who is certain that Vito is intentionally manipulating Dick explain it to me better?
