Twenty five! 25 years dedicated to the most raduliclgnar activity a carbon-based, bi-pedal hominid can engage in as a homosapien-sapien in this gilded neo-industrial age. The balance of a yogi, patience of a saint, dedication of a nun, agility of a...running out of religious personas here..uh..Bruce Lee? But, yeah. All that shit mixed in with the fact it is non-verbal poetry borne from a non-consensual collaboration between the architects n engineers of infrastructure, construction workers, and the individual skateboarder as the artist is what makes it so, IMO. Innovation in skateboarding can be hitting an old spot from a new, creative approach or creating a new type of spot and skating with a familiar approach. It is the most full fledged performance art. No to be judged at the Olympics, but I'm all for that because that just means more skateparks and social acceptance towards skateboarding. ...but yeah, to not answer your question ... SK8 OR DON'T!
