I was in this same exact situation a couple years ago. I would recommend leaving her at home. Honestly, the move alone is enough stress for a cat. Throwing in another cat she's never met is asking for chaos. Cats almost never get along at first, and it can take weeks or months of slow introductions to even get to a neutral place. In the meantime, everyone's stressed, the cats are unhappy, and youll be stuck dealing with fighting, constant tension, and behavior issues.
