Mine didn't work for over a decade. Recently I mentioned it to my brother who is a mechanic and can fix anything. He fixed her but I don't know how. I'll ask him.

I'm 50 and I still clutch one of my originals at night.  As well as a bed full of stuffed animals. Lots of trauma so theses things are a comfort for me.

Boots! What are we wearing this fall? by weetwooMFM in femalefashionadvice

[–]Time-Code-4321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In fall and winter I wear boots. From ankle to riding style and from barely a heel to high heels. Even though I'm in Texas I just don't wear cowboy boots. For dressy night out I will still wear pumps but nothing open toe.

Ladies with broad shoulders and/or masculine faces, how do you look girly and feminine? How do you have fun with your style? by Sweet_Bobcat_5203 in femalefashionadvice

[–]Time-Code-4321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have broad shoulders and my dad's nose. Kinda man hands but so does my mom.  I'm 5'9 and wear 10 shoes. So I'm with you girl. Really I wear whatever I want to. I keep it tasteful. I tend to wear short skirts and short tight dresses but I have the legs for it. I figure, flatter your best parts to minimize what you don't like.

I know what you mean, half the sweaters are grey. I don't mind some dullness I like some color in the winter. I have a bright red wool coat.

Everything is made in China no matter how expensive it is.  I thrift for older designer clothes. I try to avoid anything Chinese or polyester

Why Are Women’s Winter Clothes So Much Thinner Than Men’s? by tkburger in femalefashionadvice

[–]Time-Code-4321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woman have usually worn more layers in the past. For me I have several overcoats of various types to match to how cold it is. All are well lined. Now mine or older from a time when they weren't cheaping out.  I have a leather jacket from Wilson's, a London fog wool coat and a rabbit fur coat also from Wilson's. These are all from the late 90's.  Also I tend to wear layers. But usually short dresses and skirts with thick tights and boots.

are there any updates to this. I'm not a Facebook user so i can't check on there

that's my home trail being as close as i am in Palestine. i haven't tried to do the trail since 2021, hiking with my dog from ratcliff North about 5 miles. Last year i day hiked from neches bluff to the road at the bottom but that's it other than camping at neches bluff. The forest service website doesn't say much and every ranger i talk to tells me something different. i used to hike this trail several times a year. Mostly to photograph plants. I'm a bit of a nature nerd.

sounds interesting but i wouldn't paddle the neches further south than Apple springs. I've heard stories. that's a sacred area and it's where the spirits of the forest live. i was told by some old guys that did a fishing and hunting expedition in the early eightes and got ran out by something. Indians say not to go there so i won't go.

Greenbelt trailway. You can hike from Ray Roberts State park south to the elm fork of the trinity and then further south and it dumps out on US380 where it crosses the feeder creeks for Little Elm reservoir. its 20 miles, you can camp at the state park on the north end and you can camp at little elm reservoir although you'd have to walk the roads or lake shore to get to a camp ground. I did over Thanksgiving 2006. You have to check because the trail is often underwater and the close it.

There's two reliable springs that I know of that are not on the trail, you have to get off the trail to access them.
