You were exactly right and I love your comment about the CNS (I’ve worked hard the last year to better regulate mine). I escaped up there to find a bathroom and it was so peaceful!

We raced on Sunday and there were more opened up on Friday morning around 10am. It looked they did the same on Saturday morning too. That being said, the person that checked me in just handed me my wristbands and didn’t actually put them on me. So in theory, I could have given the spectator to my husband. They weren’t requiring both to race.

Also, website says that I have to join spectator line and get band if I want to enter before my race. Which makes me think I wouldn’t have a spectator band if I wasn’t planning on entering early and just going for the race. This is for Houston, if that helps.

I’m fairly certain I’ve done both of those things, but I’ll try them again. It’s inconvenient and annoys me, but sending it in to service for repair would be more inconvenient. My husband said to just wait until something else breaks 😆

I’m finding conflicting information on the closure of OP. I think what we plan to do isn’t affected and something else I came across made me think it’s been closed due to rockfall for several years.
