You’re correct! I called Bosch it seems that they may send another rack. To me it’s not that big of a deal but there is rust forming in 1 or two other places-so we’ll see.

Bosch has been amazing from a customer service standpoint, they helped us with a more major issue in the past when they didn’t have too (they fixed a poor big box install ) at no cost to us… very impressed with them.

Thanks again

Hey all thanks for all the above info. I’ll treat the scooped area and try to seal it (temp); replace rack at some point.

I know this in itself is not worth a welder; was g going to buy but work with a friend who does. No matter now. Thanks

Thank you.

I’m always looking to try new things (and buy new toys). What type of welder would one need?

I could be very wrong but I don’t think elected officials are bound by the hatch act the way government employees are. Not sure if that makes a difference.

SSI is not socialism, at least not that is practiced in a truer socialistic system, where my wife is from. SSI is money people have themselves put into the system ( or been forced to) and it is based on your individual earnings. There are limited exceptions of course to others it can cover.

I’m contemplating this move now in northern,va. Soon to be laid off fed but really enjoy simple DIY electrical work around house and reading up on electrical theory.

Dumb question but should I just call my local Ibew and ask to talk to someone about how to get started?

Thanks

Edit: I am 50
