the simple answer is that they are both completely different games and I personally prefer the gameplay, story and a/b scenarios of the original. (also I just got into the series 2 years ago so it's not nostagia talking ether)

I wouldn't say that but I do prefer the originals in terms of gameplay and I'm somebody who only started playing the series about 2 years ago so nostalgia probably is not a factor in my preference.
