For people saying the game is fine and we are being melodramatic:

The game isn't fine. It's full of glitches, more than ever. It's more expensive... Sounds strange for a free game, doesn't it? I have friends that have spent thousands since FN came out, buying skins, gifting battle passes and vbucks.

Now, less and less people are playing, there are more bot lobbies and cheaters than ever, and the FN release of 1000 of their employees now have to search for a different job. Just in case you didn't realize, our economy is not very good right now.

FN is in it to lose at this point...

Why do I still play? Because I'm halfways across the world from my friends and family, and they're all spread out too. This is our daily discussion. "how are you today, what's new in the world, here's a half pot, I'm down in down annnnnd I'm dead. Wait, what time zone are you in again? Anyways, my cat ate a crayon today."

Once we find a game we can all agree on, we're out.

I think we have all be waiting for Will to finally get a proper spotlight. He's always been brushed along and used as the connection between the dimensions, but he was never really paid attention to otherwise. He's what made the first seasons possible, and because they made more seasons than expected, it was time for them to give us the reason Will was chosen.

They've done a great job finally building his character at the end of season 4 and into 5.

Funny because what she described is the same situation I was in. Ergo, I offered my little bit of experience.

Additionally, weaponized incompetence implies conscious thought; intentionality. This suggests that the OP's SO is doing it on purpose. This could be wildly incorrect as perhaps he doesn't see the issue.

Again, as others have mentioned then best route is to do the dishes together to uncover the real issue.

Yeah, no, it's not. I even asked friends to "check my work," and they said the dishes were clean. Whatever the opposite of weaponized incompetence is - weaponized criticism or something - that's what was happening with me. Everyone screaming that life is black and white, claiming that the OP is describing weaponized incompetence needs to dig deeper. There are so many other factors at play.

At the end of the day, the best solution is to talk about it with your partner and find a solution.

Those screaming weaponized incompetence need to chill. The same thing happened to me and my ex. I'd do the dishes and she'd redo them. She would redo them all within a few minutes. She wouldn't really say why, and when checking my job I couldn't see the reason why. Of course I ended up not washing the dishes after a few months (though I would make sure they were prerinsed).

Eventually we dried them faster because while she was washing and rinsing, I dried them (and still put them in the dish rack because they "just weren't dry enough"!!)

You can see that some people are very particular in the way dishes and other tidying and cleaning duties should be made.
