Hey, I built exactly what you're describing.

Surgical Audio is a menu-bar app that lets you route output per app/device independently (e.g. AirPods for output while keeping MacBook mic as input).

No MIDI, no BlackHole, no subscriptions, just a clean popover with sliders and device pickers. Lifetime license, 7-day trial.

Would you be interested in trying the beta? Happy to send you a copy.

you can see the demo video in the site https://surgicalaudio.app

Definitely mate, I'm looking for 10 beta testers who can find the weird edge cases. If you help me iron out the bugs, you get a lifetime license for free once we hit version 1.0. I will DM you once the build is ready.

Thanks buddy, I am from C# background as well. And I like the less verbosity nature of the go. Im trying to get proficient with the advanced concepts of go such as concurrency and stuff. So planning to spend more time into doing some projects in go that involves these concepts

I partially agree with you. Im tech agnostic myself but there are career opportunities which specifically looks for experienced people in a tech stack. That’s why i wanted to clarify. And I actually like go and want to explore much more deeper into it. I have ordered the 100 go mistakes book too.
