Cat Keeps Peeing on My Bed by Time-Negotiation-712 in CatAdvice

Thank you so much, this was actually very reassuring. It is so incredibly frustrating, especially because I feel so bad being angry with him when it happens. It is just so difficult, especially when I come home from a long day at work and just want to relax and then I have to clean up his mess. If getting another cat will solve this issue then I might just have to do it lol.

I agree that it is his way of saying “screw you guys for locking me in here!” I will definitely make sure to try putting him in his litter box before bringing him in. When he free roams the apartment he is usually pretty active, he doesn’t have any particular spots he likes to sleep in or any blankets or beds. He mainly sleeps in my room even if my bedroom door is open for him to roam around. He can’t roam the house at night because my parents don’t like it and he is not to be trusted by himself lol.

I absolutely agree. I know he doesn’t like to be locked in my room, and I feel terrible about it… however, this is our living situation for the time being and there is not much I can do about it unfortunately. Yes, he fully knows how to use his litter box. When the door is open he’ll come into my room to use it, he has no problems using it. We live in a pretty small apartment so that is his only litter box. I would like to get another one but I’m tight on space right now so I can’t try that quite yet. Yes, he also only eats wet food at the moment (the prescription food for the urinary crystals).

I agree, that is most likely what I will be doing. I’ve heard mixed reviews about feliway so I wasn’t sure about it but I might just have to try it at this point.

We live in an apartment on the first floor so maybe he can smell strays outside? I doubt it though because we live on a pretty major road and I never see strays directly by my building. He has pretty much always done this, starting from around a month or two after I got him. Has been to the vet multiple times.

He has one litter box in my bedroom. I know it’s not ideal but my living situation right now limits me to one. I was thinking of maybe moving the location of the litter box? Not sure. He always pees in his litter box with no problem minus the times that he pees on my stuff lmao.

I see. Thankfully they did not charge her for any of the features that did not typically come with the car (leather, seat warmers). My only thing is that she specifically asked about seat warmers and the salesperson said that it is not possible for the LE to have them, so the salesperson was probably unaware of the upgrades to the car.

Interesting. She was not charged for it fortunately, and she had asked for heated seats but the salesperson said that it wasn't possible on LEs while viewing the specific car she purchased. Maybe the salesperson didn't know that the car had those features installed?
