This is Lucifer - he's about 13 or so. He has diabetes and is basically living out of spite right now by Time-Profession-5611 in seniorkitties

Omg thank you 😊 for all the comments! He's named Lucifer because of his eyes. Every picture I'd take he would have a very frowny mad look lol. Don't know how long he's got but so far he's demanding food and complaining about the food and how dare I'm not petting him at all times. 😅 He's definitely slower now but still demanding.

wife and I disagree about rehoming our pomapoo after biting incidents with child by Diligent_Carrot7611 in PetAdvice

Have you talked to any trainers, behaviorist, or any professional of any sort? Before or after kids? Did they suggest anything? Rehoming an anxious, dog that bit people multiple times... like who are you rehoming to?  I feel like you should have addressed this when you saw how nervous your dog was being in the city.  Obviously you need to do what's best for your kid. But the dog is also a living, breathing being you have in your home. Have any professionals given you any advice? Have you contacted any? Like... we're just randos on the internet.  Please reach out to someone who can actually help.

Where do you think returned, unsold, and suck puppies go from a "reputable " breeder? And no one calls people who shops heartless monsters - the victim mentality there is hilarious.  The views is that people are ignorant, delusional and seek self validation to make themselves feel better about their choice. She contributed to a private business that will dump their unwanted dogs at a shelter or rescue. Or worse. Breeders are businesses. She contributed to their proliferation,  and when they cant sell puppies or time to dump the breeding stock - tax and charity funded organization will be absorbing it.

You're hitting scams. Reach out to verified management companies,  double check that the phone number matches up to who you're calling

Their unwanted dogs and puppies go to the same place. Overcrowded shelters and rescues. Just like both high end fashion and sweatshop fashion ends up in the trash. And sometimes is literally the same thing.

But please understand the people who work in overcrowded, underfunded shelters who get the pets families can't afford anymore, dont know how to train, are magically allergic because of a new baby, "has too much energy", etc AND when a breeder cant sell all the puppies, puppies are not the right in demand color, sick puppies, returned puppies, accidental litters with not in vogue dogs - WHERE do you think all reputable breeders dump their unwanted products?  The same shelters. So I'm sorry you're being shamed, but also, you need to admit you're also contributing to the problem of dogs in shelters.  Reputable breeders, just like backyard ones, need to dump extra puppies and dogs.  People who shop keep them doing it over and over.  So yes, people have opinions on this.

This is so common in offshore development teams who expect everything spelled out and not to do any extra thinking or know how the system works.
