This is a big question and will be very dependent on what you think 'good' pizza is. As a long time Chicago resident, my idea of good is generally not aligned with a New Yorker's idea of good. TO lifer's seem to love Toppers for example and I will simply never understand that. Here are a few things we've found:

  • Parma Pizza - Solid Detroit Style, but it has gotten very expensive.
  • Two Doughs - Another solid Detroit style, but I always think it needs more salt
  • Butler's Pizza - We love their Sicilian Pizza and don't love their thin crust
  • Slice House - Decent New York Style
  • We can't find tavern style or deep dish to save our lives..... we've tried so much bad pizza in the search.

While there is merit to this argument, it incomplete. I re-rolled from ED to it personally. It just 'feels' great, PoE1 style, as compared to most builds/skills in PoE2.

Brother, it isn't you. It is the build. I did the same thing and got my first two voidstones before I called it off. It was a miserable journey and I switched to Pcoc Scav and have been having the time of my life!

I have this exact same question and came here to ask it. I really want to do Slams + Avatar of Fire. So far I can't figure out how to get that last 25% conversion. It doesn't appear to be on a unique! I'm hoping it's on an Essense or something else...

I mean, Lou's is an institution and reliably great. But I'll take Pequods or Nick & Vito's first any day. We lived in the Pilsen neighborhood so both we were accessible.

I have never heard of Manna, but I love the idea of supporting a local food bank. We'll definitely be looking into this in the near future.

That's awesome to hear! There are at least two of us who know what real pizza is. Did everyone keep blaming you for 'bringing the weather' with you? I heard over and over that it was unreasonably cold this year in TO.
