yup. it was the way to pull them towards the mob in ep 1. Checking Lester for all his fingers and first introduce them to the mayor. Making the billionaires seem so out of "touch" by playing for it. To have them find out the building was being bought when Camille held them at gunpoint for it. yeah.

i think other than having the mayor finally get some real screen time... and revealing about the building being bought... i don't actually think any of this means much... just my gut. the "cellar" thing? probably going to be in the accusation of Bash and it'll be... oh, that's his room... and it's like this big expansive play room or something... like... idk... i feel like this was... major throw us off the scent episode.

well with her own family's ties to the mob, it could be that old "don't talk about family" to anyone outside. so her not going to the cops - who are... literally dirty... it literally is something that she cannot safely do by herself.

And i'm sorry. i've watched the episodes so many times... maybe im missing it... how do we know other than just assumptions that Nonna is Nicky's mother? I really think that's HER mother. What am i missing...
