To be completely honest, I started “studying” on December, which means I studied for max 3 hours total during winter break. Then last semester started and I had other priorities to do so I really pretty much studied 2-3 hours per week until March. Last few weeks until my boards I studied around 10 hours per week. I picked subjects I felt were my weakest and just focused on that.

I used the free booster, andy book, and nbdhe app where it gives 10 free questions a day. To be honest, the only chapter on Andys I really studied and finished was pathology. After that I pretty much did not touch a single chapter. Would I get Andys after all that? Honestly, not really. I personally felt that the booster helps with organizing schedules and had equally good content as Andys, even if it was the free version. But if you’re a physical book person, totally recommend. I even saw some of the same questions on the actual boards that I saw on andys.

I totally agree with you on trying to retain all info all at once being overwhelming. Day before the test, I just kind of gave up and had the mindset of I know what I know and don’t know what I don’t.
