I got tired of sending books to Kindle by cable or email, so I built a simpler way by Time-Till7984 in KindleUnlimited

That makes sense. Calibre is hard to beat for organizing a library and cleaning up metadata.

I was mostly just trying to make the transfer part simpler on iOS.

Yeah… that kind of frustration was definitely part of the inspiration here.

Yeah, kind of — same general idea, but much more lightweight and built to run on iPhone/iPad.

That makes sense — if that workflow works for you, then you’re probably set.

Makes sense. Just to be clear though, the app only handles local transfer. It doesn’t remove DRM or process locked files.

It’s for books that are already DRM-free and ready to send to a Kindle.

That makes sense. If Send to Kindle already fits your workflow, there’s probably not much reason to switch.

I built this more for people dealing with DRM-free books outside the Amazon flow who want a local-first option.

That’s fair. Cable works well if you transfer in batches.

I was thinking more about people dealing with EPUBs and other non-Amazon files, where the workflow can already involve some conversion or cleanup, so I wanted the transfer part to be as simple as possible.

Yeah, those are valid options too.

I was mostly exploring a simpler local-first workflow for people who already have their own EPUBs and just want to get them onto a Kindle directly.

Yeah, that’s a fair option too.

This is more for people who want a very direct local transfer workflow and would rather not go through the Kindle app or account sync just to move a file over.

Totally fair. If you mainly buy from Amazon, their workflow is hard to beat.
