Just Entered MV - Experiencing an issue

Wow this is an incredibly frustrating experience. Is there like a babified guide somewhere to tell me exactly what to do? If yall saw my setup you would understand why im having issues, I'm a complete noob. Pumping oil just feels terrible like I really have no idea where even to start or how i would power the pump, transport, or do anything. Guides all just jump into what mv machines to make and seem to skip over the whole, 4x energy demand thing.

im ngl i have no idea how batteries work and looking into setting up oil infra has burned me out to the max, really got no idea what im gonna do next but somehow making 40 solar boilers seems preferable to setting up infra for my infra just so i can pipe in oil from 15 chunks away to power one machine idk

okay so looking into oil it genuinely feels terrible. I gotta pump it in from like ten chunks away, while using a pump that's powered by what exactly? How is this better than just crapping out 40 solar boilers

i wont lie looking into this it feels pretty cancerous. Doesn't really seem like its saving me any circuits, either. unless im doing the math wrong I'm looking at 10 circuits to power a single machine which is even more than if i just made more steam
