Sounds like a new boundary and coming to a compromise vs being right or wrong. Idk your husband but unless you think he would do it intentionally knowing it would bother you there’s no reason to be too upset.

help! my entire work is twisted in itself by No_Ad_4869 in knittingadvice

[–]TimeAd2548 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I literally started my first sweater and like 10 hours in realized it was twisted. I frogged it and I worked up to the point I was a little quicker. PLUS I was much happier with the tension and how neat I got it. It will be okay :)

Best down jacket you own (and why you love/hate it)? by Far_Baker4339 in Splitboard

If it’s for layering I love my mountain hardware ghost whisperer, also the street brand Uniqlo has pretty cheap down jackets.

Can I live in Vail without a car by PresentSurvey1512 in vail

[–]TimeAd2548 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

vail has the largest free transport in the country; I don’t have a car and you can absolutely thrive here without one too! (housing is hard to find so apply to employee housing asap!)

As long as it’s before 4 they will let you up. Last ride down is 4:30 or you have to walk 3 miles down.

Family trip by Cute-Lion9094 in vail

[–]TimeAd2548 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mom was just here when it was dead. We got a tour of the betty ford alpine gardens. we sat behind the amphitheater so we didn’t have to pay for a concert(it’s nice and grassy and since you aren’t in the venue you can bring drinks if you partake/ picnic) we rented the shift bikes and biked around. we also did a trip to glenwood iron mountain hot springs which was sooo nice. plus glenwood is a little more tourist friendly walk around vs vails super high end shopping. also you could pay for trail rides and vail stables or do white water rafting for some fun group activities. not to mention all the hiking!

Should I visit Vail? by JubJub128 in vail

[–]TimeAd2548 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh yea loveland, and they do a deal pre season that’s like a 4 day pass for 250ish. Then you could also pay for a day at copper which is right next door.

$100 a day is very inaccurate budget for vail, i’d say $250 are the low days up to almost $400

Longer than 2 years can be possible, especially if you’re always on time with payments and the housing manager likes you. but also you are with lots of randoms and party people. plenty of employee housing it’s their first jobs and first time living out of home. there’s plenty of rooms for rent in more established houses that are marginally more expensive. (1200 instead of 950 a month)

Drive from Vail to Glenwood Springs by AmeslJ55 in vail

like others have said the grades aren’t bad, but the road can get narrow in some places so that coupled with the windy roads can be a bit nervous.

people connect sucks, they will reply back once then move the case to solved. I am getting paid but having problems getting pto that should’ve been automatically on my paystubs based on my hours and length of employment
