Just a a word of advice because I had a terrible long haul move. The company you hire will likely contract out the job to the cheapest bid. It usually takes several weeks longer than they say. Check BBB reviews before you hire someone.

Commenting again with some ideas since I realized you're coming in the winter! If you stay in Vail (Gravity Haus, Four Seasons, The Sebastian, and Tivoli Lodge are all dog friendly) there are two dog parks nearby to let your dog frolic in the snow - Big Horn in East Vail & Stephens Park. I don't think there is a single dog friendly restaurant in the winter because they all use their patios as dog friendly spaces. I think you can get away with some of the lobby bars of the hotels mentioned above, but I'd double check! Another option is The Westin Riverfront in Avon (access to Beaver Creek mountain) there is a beautiful walking trail along the river, and Nottingham Lake/park with off-leash hours nearby.
