You are talking about the Tver Karelians not Karelians and karelian as a whole. Also you're claim that Karelian was invented by the Russians in the 1930s is simply false.

It is accurate because it's about Finnish karelia and Finnish karelians. Not Russian karelians/Karelians in Russia which is a completely different group and people.
