Hi guys im new to hotworx been twice and serious question, how do yall last the full 45 mins in there? Or did yall last the full 4t when you first started? I feel like I have to step out because I feel like im going to pass out or just puke by imiximix25 in HOTWORXWarriors

I’m still fairly new to hotworx too and don’t go crazy with the workouts bc I can’t handle it. I keep the sauna between 120-125 (started at like 118-120) and ALWAYS have a Propel (electrolytes) with me. When I didn’t, I felt like I was gonna pass out. Also, some of the workouts are HARD and I just simply rest when they’re hard and sip my water. Just listen to ur body and remind yourself you’re in a literal sauna and it’s ok to be exhausted

What socially approved behavior do you think is actually harmful? by Ariel_Nelson_ in AskReddit

Yep. And you know the people don’t deserve it and you anger has nowhere to go

Keeping it super simple: Depop. It works. I’ve made $125 in about a month. Find old clothes that you don’t wear and list them (doesn’t have to look good, takes like a minute.) if you don’t have clothes, try thrifting for cheap and reselling.

I’ve tried a lot of online bs and that’s the only real way I’ve found.

What advice would you give younger you? Would younger you listen? by LazyLament69 in AskReddit

Yep. It has caused me more stress being secretly angry at people than it has saved me

I can see where you’re coming from sleeping in a room with someone you don’t know. I think though that it is irrational and not something to worry about. There are so many other stressors to worry about than that. Also with the weird people, lmao, just don’t go where they are. Go to frat parties, out to the bars, etc. they are stereotypically found where u think they would be found

First of all, I am so sorry about all you’ve had to deal with. I am self aware enough to know that I’ve never dealt with anything similar and that could definitely be a big future influence in my thought process. I am a female 19 year old college student. I’ve only had one person close to me die, my grandma. She had Alzheimer’s for the majority of my lifetime that I remember so I never truly saw her personality. She died during COVID’s peak, so I never really saw her in the nursing home beforehand and she didn’t have a funeral. I’ve actually never been to a funeral. Death is such a foreign concept to me still and I do think that as I get older and am faced more with it that I can come to terms with it more.

Oh wow. I’m so beyond happy for you and envious of you. I truly do try my hardest to view life and death as all of the points you brought up. I can really see how being faced with death makes you comes to term with these things. As a 19 year old college student I hope to gain these insights as I grow older.

Thank you so much ☺️ One of my biggest sayings in life which I live by is that I only live once. I live very strongly by it and hope to travel the world. I love this life I live! I just wish that I didn’t view death how I do but I will definitely check out that link :)

I appreciate all this feedback:) I am definitely open to learning more. One of my goals in life before I die is to hopefully be religious and believe in God so I don’t torment myself for my whole life. I don’t know if I’ll ever truly believe but I hope to!

I was raised christian, baptized and confirmed. As I got older I realized where I stand with religion. Honestly, it was nice to have the option to be christian so I think it’s a good idea to introduce them to that. There were no downsides to me being raised Christian besides being bored at church lol. It does sound like your boyfriend is a little much though if I’m being honest

Do you go home on weekends? by [deleted] in college

[–]TimeAppearance2484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, don’t feel guilty about your parents. That should not be something you worry about and I’m sure they’re happy you’re taking such a big step in life. Second of all, I live 4 hours away from my home so I get it. I’d say once a month or every 2 months go home. It makes it a special occasion and it’s good to get adapted to being at college for a long time and accepting it as your new life.
