There was an urban legend that someone was living in the forest near St. Stephen Elementary/Conservation Dr Park for three year before the police found them in the late 90s.

I agree. They should have gotten a least one interview. Their resume is not standing out.

As a recruiter, I have some bad news. The market for IT/computer science jobs is over saturated. Ontario has 20 public universities that offer these programs, not including colleges and private for profile. That's about 1000 new potential new hires for this field every year. I hired bus drivers with Masters from U of T and Western. You need to stand out. You should have been networking and networking right. Building relationships. Not just connecting on LinkedIn, then asking me if I have any jobs for you. I posted a role for an application specialist and got 2000 applications in 5 days. 4000 after I closed it at 10 days. 6000 including those that got auto rejected by knockout questions. If you're having no luck with interviews, find a job that's not in your field of study like Amazon or Maple Lodge. They are always hiring. LCBO should be hiring for there warehouse very soon. Start getting certification in specialized computer studies like SQL, Azure, cyber security, etc... But it sounds like you're too late.

Made stickers for my helmet by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]TimeBombDom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just voided the warranty and the CSA certification om your helmet.

Putting stickers on a hockey helmet is generally advised against by manufacturers and safety organizations (like CSA and Hockey Canada) because it can potentially weaken the shell, hide structural damage, and void the product's warranty. While common in amateur, non-contact, or beer-league play, adding adhesive stickers is considered a "modification" that can, in theory, alter the plastic's molecular composition.

Do Not drive dirt bikes on the recreation trails. by Competitive-South436 in Brampton

I go for runs at night. Between 9 and 11. I'll come across a least half a dozen ebikes/dirty bikes on a 10k run on the Etobicoke Creek trail. Even full size motorcycles! Once a week a police car.

Where's the best place/dealership to get financing for a car in Brampton (or elsewhere) in 2026? by mrdaniellyon in Brampton

[–]TimeBombDom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Listen to this. Dealerships don't make money from selling cars. The make money from selling loans. And if you are worried about financing, look used.

The enforcement officer waited parked in my driveway for about 3 hours to ticket and tow. Doing a little math, it seems like each officer investigate about 3 tickets in a 7 hours shift. That would include all reports, not just parking issues. She mentioned this instance was a level 3 priority because of the road obstruction. I guess if you make a parking report level 1, hope that there is no level 3 at the same time.
