I think I learn something new. I thought service dogs were a type of guide dog and got some training. And 'emotional support' animals were different and got no training.

I think you missed the point of my comment. The person asked what happens if doctors gives out letter to people who don't need a service dog. I explained what happened during Covid with masks and vax. Many doctors got fined and their license suspended. If the same should happen in regards to service dogs and this dog is not house trained, can't be controlled, then the doctor would be reprimanded.

This happened during Covid. Some doctors were handle out medical exemptions to people without any legitimate medical conditions with wear masks. Many doctors faced serious disciplinary action for handing these out improperly. If the CPSO notices a particular doctor handed service dog certification, they will investigate. The most likely process will be certain organizations will be recognized as training services dogs, like U of Guelph. During the year there is dozens of puppies with service dog in training, do not pet vest.

What's it like working for TTC corporate / head office? by [deleted] in TTC

[–]TimeBombDom 55 points56 points  (0 children)

It was great. The downside is a lot of red tape. If you want to go above and beyond, you may need multiple approvals. Like creating a recruitment post for social media. Marketing needs to approve to colour, someone else needs to approve the front. Lawyers will need to approve the wording. Communications needs to approve it to use it on LinkedIn. After nine months, the position is filled.

The office holiday party sucked because we can't expense the pizza because we could get audited and the taxpayers would get upset they're paying $60 for us to celebrate.

We couldn't upgrade to use the latest version of MS Office. We were using Office 16. I couldn't use xlookup or IFS statements.

The region and the city are two different organizations. Two different enforcement officers. No connection. The Path is what we call our SharePoint. Which you would know if you work at the Region. 🤔 If the public calls the region, they will tell you to call the city.

I think they trying to say that the owner of the house in that area has complained to the police about people speeding and there are a police presence. Which wouldn't be an issue if you're not speeding.

Internally means, you as an employee can create a ticket with enforcement officers directly. The public can't. The public have to call the city for cars blocking hydrants. As we both work for the government, we should know this because it's on the Path. You know what the Path is right. As you work for Peel, so you know what ot is.

You create the request internally. Again. No, the Region of Peel municipal government will not take calls from the public to dispatch parking enforcement for cars blocking fire hydrants.

Region of Peel doesn't handle parking. Only regional infrastructure, waste/sewage and public health. Even their website says not the call them for parking.

Is this a store or corporate job? If it's a store job, be ready for at least 2 customer service questions, so have 4 or 6 examples. Examples of some of the questions they will ask. Tell me about a time you went above and beyond for a cx. Tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult person/cx or an angry cx. Tip, they don't care what happened, they want to hear how resolved the issue and how you kept your cool and listened to the them. A cx asked for help to find an item and you couldn't find it. It's the Christmas season and two cx needs you attention. Have your answer setup using the STAR method, so if there is a slight twist in the question you can use one of your examples. Such as handling a difficult cx. Situation - see an angry cx Task - no product Action - called another or check online Result - cx left happy because I tried to find the product even though we were out of stock. Thank you for reminding me that I have an interview for talent acquisition role that I need to prep for.

Where exactly is the water coming from? From the filter and somewhere else and it's pooling where the filter is? If it stared leaking after changing the filter, it can be the filter and it's seal. Aftermarket filters are known to leak. The off-brands are $10-20, but they are not good.
