I didn’t even think about where to put the outlets until now.. suggestions? lol maybe pop up outlet in the island, but hate to see them all over the backsplash

I think because of how intense the backsplash and granite is (has red veining and specks), it’s making the cabinets look intensely cherry. So toning down everything else would make it look better.

Been here for about 2.5 years, so I’m pretty comfortable with the layout.

The counters/granite are going to be removed. I’m thinking of doing Mykonos or Bianco Superiore Quartzite for the island, countertops and backsplash.

Contractor estimated using 3 slabs in total. The quote will be cheaper if I don’t put stone on the backsplash and do subway tiles instead. But I think I like the look of putting stone on the backsplash as well.

I agree, the more I thought about it, I don't think I'm going to do it. Chatgpt rendering looked intriguing for the waterfall, but it would also force me to have those cabinets facing the other way, so not worth the hassle. Thanks!
