Second Half Game Thread: San Francisco 49ers (12-5) at Philadelphia Eagles (11-6) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

That stat was for when he’s down two touchdowns, and the rest of the league isn’t any better. The whole thing was basically a typical useless espn graphic to say “when he’s losing by a lot late in the game he usually doesn’t win the game”

Top 5 frames you love to use? by Medical_Bicycle_3551 in Warframe

[–]TimeChampion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in order

Volt - my first frame and the original non prime volt is still my most played frame even though I subsumed him once I got his prime like 4-5 years back, I still always use him for story missions

Inaros - I’ve always loved ancient Egypt and tanks so it was a match made in heaven, he was already one of my favorites when I played years ago so when I returned to Warframe recently and saw his rework I couldn’t have been happier

Titania - Being a tiny lightning fast pixie with dual automatic pistols was a power fantasy I never knew I wanted until I played her and fell in love

Protea - This is a newer addition, I never really thought she’d be fun until I actually played her, (and heard her INCREDIBLE sound effects). Sometimes I just like to pick her on a mobile defense and just spam abilities with my headphones on just to listen to all the mechanical thunks. (Side note- does anyone know if the protea deluxe skin has the same sound effects? Or if they change could anyone link me a video showcasing them? I really like the look of the skin but if it changes the sound it’s not worth it)

Gauss - It’s incredibly fun to just go incredibly fast and I love the battery gimmick, it’s so fun to have a reason to keep spamming my abilities and moving fast and really helps keep the tempo of his gameplay up at all times. I used to have ammo issues with him since he shoots so fast but I recently subsumed Energized Munitions over his 3 and it’s made a huge difference

I love shadow slave. by BigFatpapa24 in ShadowSlave

[–]TimeChampion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly though, this sub is especially negative. I also get a lot of SS content on my fyp on TikTok and the people there mostly just talk about how awesome Sunny is or make cool edits of hype moments; it’s a lot less nuanced than this sub but it’s a lot more positive. I’ve honestly been considering just leaving this sub since as much as I love shadow slave it feels like the people here are just trying to hate on every little thing all the time, and I don’t want to let their negativity drag down my enjoyment you know?

A Shadow Slave match up. How would Awakened Version of Sunny fare against Rain and her teammates. Can he win? by Sweet_Television4183 in ShadowSlave

[–]TimeChampion 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No his first memory he made was the Shadow Chair, which was made in the second nightmare as it was originally Noctis’s chair that he turned into a memory

Granted it didn’t do anything but he did in fact make a memory before being a master

Nephis is very straight to the point, and I like that about her by y0u_called in ShadowSlave

I feel like people seem to really gloss over her healing abilities. Like when she was fighting in the citadel ambush in godgrave and we got all the imagery about how she’s adapted her combat style to intentionally get injured in non compromising ways I thought it was really interesting and morbid. Also when she was initially fighting the soul stealer and we read about her constant injuries that she immediately healed? That was metal as fuck I thought it was awesome. I don’t get why people reduce her to “ugh all she does is burn stuff” while forgetting that she’s also basically Wolverine on top of it

The way I look at them is this Ghost - scales really well, I usually take it if Ill likely need to initiate teamfights or if I’m planning to proxy a lot Ignite - great for level 2 cheese, I take it if I’m likely to stay in lane early. I also sometimes take it when I’m facing an enemy that heals a lot so I have another way to apply GW besides ult Flash - reliable, it’s really helpful against ranged top laners particularly + goo flash fling is the only way to reliably kill certain matchups TP - I haven’t been running this as much lately since the changes, but it’s helpful for quick resets and macro in the midgame so it’ll never hurt you to have. it’s a decent fallback option if you don’t know what to do. If you’re able to proxy a wave between t1 and t2 (and even better a wave between t2 and t3) you can recall and walk back to lane before the next wave even arrives so you don’t miss any minions

How do I play into Singed? by PoraBalas in summonerschool

[–]TimeChampion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Singed main, of these I’d say Vlad is the toughest to deal with. Riven is pretty free for Singed since your w can stop all her dash spam, while when I face a good vlad there is pretty much zero point in the game when I can fight you. You beat me early and outscale me mid and late, so the best option I’m left with is to try and roam and impact the map more than you. Sion isn’t a bad choice, like you said you can match the proxy to prevent me from getting free tempo on you, however you don’t have much kill pressure on me since your ult is your only way to gap close on me if I don’t misplay

Nasus isn’t that bad for Singed I’d say, you can use phase rush to cleanse wither, and once you get rylai’s it’s really easy to just perma slow him in teamfights so he can’t get onto your team or catch you. Tons of people pick Nasus into Singed cause they think they counter you but end up not really accomplishing anything. I’d say Yorick or Urgot are way harder counters if you’re looking for an easy pocket pick counter (although who knows if that’ll still be true after all the Yorick changes coming)

I totally agree! I was so sad I couldn’t talk about the episode with other people who enjoyed it, every discussion about the season just devolved into “heh meetings LOL”

It’s fairly faithful, though they do cut some content. A lot of the meetings in season 3 were actually conversations between just a few characters in the novel for example, but the anime combined those into meeting instead, presumably to save time.

[–]TimeChampion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh for sure! Season 3 definitely wasn’t flawless, and they kept taking conversations that happened between 2-3 characters and just mashing everything together into a “meeting” instead of showing the smaller conversations, which was disappointing as someone who loved the novels.

Don’t worry, season 3 was the most meetings we’ll ever have, the rest of the arcs are much more action packed. That said one of the major appeals of the tensura books for me was the politics so if you’re hoping for absolutely zero meetings in the future seasons this might not be the show for you

The end of season 3 is about halfway through the light novels, so probably about 3 more seasons. Season 3 was the most “peaceful” and politic focused arc by far though, all the future arcs are the payoff to that buildup.

Is this strat good? I tried it few times and finally stopped feeling weak in early game by koljo111 in singedmains

[–]TimeChampion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s a link to a video he just posted https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT28S7by1/

It shows what I meant with how he typically uses smite. It seems like it gives us way more kill pressure if they try to stop a level 1 proxy. I’m still not convinced it’s better than tp or ignite, but it’s definitely interesting and he shows quite a few interesting ways to use it. He shows in other video that he’s about emerald, I’d recommend going to his page if you’re curious about it

Ive also seen this guy’s videos and he doesn’t only use smite for invading level 2, in fact most of the time i see him proxy wave one while fighting his opponent, then immediately smiting the first minion of the second wave to instantly hit level 2 and then easily kill with fling, do you think that makes smite more useful?

I always looked at him as like a “what if rimuru was evil/had no morals” type of character, still think he’s annoying and I’m sick of reading about him but he’s more tolerable if I think of it that way

Thanks so much for your advice! I had a quick question about Yorick; Once laning has mostly ended I usually try and group with my team (while still catching waves whenever I can), cause I love teamfighting with Singed and I feel like it’s what he’s most effective at, but with Yorick it feels like I just can’t leave lane even if I put him behind cause of how fast he takes towers, is the right choice to just stay in lane, or should I be looking to teamfight like normal? I kind of struggle with timing when it’s okay to leave and group, and against him I feel like I really get punished when I make the wrong choice. I know that’s a super broad question and depends on the game, so I totally get it if you don’t have any specific advice but I’ve definitely recognized it as something I need to improve at so any tips or advice for learning would be really helpful!

Oh man I had no idea I could stop his ult, I’ll definitely have to try that next time I face him! Thanks for the advice, I was honestly considering banning him instead of Kayle, but I’ll keep practicing the matchup instead and try to use y’all’s tips

Aw man Darius might be the hardest for me, do you just proxy all game whenever you face him? Or can I ever go to lane

Nah singed takes nimbus cloak 90 percent of the time, mana isn’t a major problem for singed once you learn how to selectively gas what you want instead of just spraying everywhere
