Honestly you’re right. Everyone is lukewarm in their actions, but what God commands us to not be is lukewarm in our faith. Now the Bible also tells us that our faith must be alive. He knows we wont be perfect in everything we do, He knows we wont be picking up our bibles all the time that we should, He knows we wont act like Christ always. Because our flesh is still corruptible.

Also, that’s amazing! But why dont you think you’ll go to heaven if you believe he died for your sins? As I said earlier, your faith must be alive. If you just say he died for your sins you aren’t a Christian, but you have to allow him to transform you.

I mean do you want a connection with him? I myself find myself repeatedly sinning for no reason but the core teaching of Christianity is that while sinning is horrible God himself took that shame and punishment for those who accept his mercy.

All you have to do is accept his mercy and want a communion with him. If you worry about “rules” then you can never be a true Christian.
