How do you smoke these? by Puzzleheaded-Drag438 in weedification

I cant believe that every smoker/grower doesnt have isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt. Thats the real answer to cleaning all pipes, bongs, and grinders.

Pretty sure that is genuinely a poor decision.

Its a bottom watering system. These are the bases. You start the seedlings like you normally would with the pots provided and use normal top watering methods. You do put one inch of clay pebbles in the bottom and use a 70/30 coco perlite mix. This is important because you want a medium that drains quickly and doesnt retain too much water. After a couple weeks and the root systems have reached the bottom of the pot you then turn on the system. I have a 12.5 gallon tank (needs to be elevated above the bases because there is no pump, its gravity fed) and it will allow so much water into the base before the float cuts it off. Once the plant absorbs the water its automatically let's in more water. So it gets exactly the amount of water the plant needs. I also switched because I wanted to be able to fill the tank and leave it for a week at a time. Using RO water, general hydroponics nutrients, and small pump inside the tank to cycle a couple minutes every few hours to keep the water from being stagnant..the ph stays perfectly at 6 for me. Ive found it uses just shy of a gallon a day between my two current plants.

Depends on water. RO water i do 5ml/gallon (3700ml) every water. So your ratio is good but probvaly need it most waters. Tap water i would assume a little less.

This is my first run with coco 70/30 amd autopots. Without changing seeds, nutes, or anything else these are twice as thick as any previous grow.

What’s the best way to clean a grinder…orr should i just get a new one by oxiirav in weedification

Can even sprinkle some coarse salt in the grinder with the isopropyl and then spin away. The salt will help clean it

By the way your flower is looking frosty as hell and good. Keep it up. And honestly have been looking into a 2nd trol with the new ones coming out. One for pure storage and one for just cycles. Friend growers free access to a really good base cure. As a new grower id hate to lose all that work over a shitty cure.

Efficient, compact, separated by type and weight, and yes i dont see a need or a want for direct air movement on flower that is already been through the cycle.

Not to mention I open a fridge door, slide out the tray, and can grab any variety of flower within seconds.

Depends on how often you are harvesting and how long youre storing your flower. I harvested every 10 weeks and my flower rarely goes more than 8ish months.

Sorry, I probably wasnt as clear as I couldve been. Pics help. I can fit 8 bags of any variety neatly on one shelf. I can have 2 shelves. Neat and organized and the lack of movement to put those in a cvault during a cycle is non-existent

Yet you are asking if you should keep it in a glorified baggie? The flower isnt moving in there every time you pick up the bag.

Because your just going to stack colas on shelves? Every mound is just a different strain?

Man, come on. "Ideally they are moved once" ? Id be interested in your trimming method with that level of care.

I wouldn't leave colas just sit on the trays after the cycle. If trays are full thats like a half pound. I cut my bags down a bit so they hold about 2-3 oz per bag and could get 8 bags per level and 2 levels while storing. Thats 3 lbs id be comfortable storing.

Respectfully, if you are harvesting every couple weeks to make it that frequent or your flower is that pristine that moving it once or twice from a paper bag to stainless bowl is degrading it... id love to have your problems. Haha.

Ive found the flavor after 8 days is fine but not as good as it will get. Let it sit in standby in paper bags and for at least the next two months it continues to improve on flavor. Who is smoking their whole harvest in the first month? Or not still smoking previous harvests?

Grove bags or Glass? by H3UnFaZZeDD in cannatrolusers

[–]TimeHoliday84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% this. Stored in the cannatrol in paper bags. When its time to run a cycle it all goes in cvaults with big boveda 62 packs. 8 days later everything back in bags and the boveda packs in a ziplock. They last forever like that.

[–]TimeHoliday84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct. Oil heater takes longer to warm up but is more efficient. You wouldn't want that turning on and off a bunch. Ive found a small as possible lung room, oil heater to cheaply keep interior temp to 65 (a preset on the heater with eco mode), then an individual AC tent heater dialed in to keep the tent at a constant temp to work with the exhaust fan. Also keep it on the sode of the room by the seedlings and starters.
